In 1993 Cynthia Boggs created the Nanny Connection, Inc., in response to a growing need for safe, reliable, quality childcare in the home.  Ms. Boggs has a BA in Psychology and has completed graduate studies in the Masters of Social Work program from the University of South Carolina, as well as, graduate studies in the Masters of Education Department at GA State University which focused on 'How Learners Learn" and "The Teaching of Reading".  All nannies are encouraged to set up age appropriate learning centers and read to the children.  It is never too early to begin learning.

Ms. Boggs has worked as a social worker for the South Carolina Department of Social Serives in the Child Abuse and Neglect Unit on two occasions.  In addition, she worked as a court appointed Guardian as Litem making recommendations in contested child custody cases.  This experience has resulted in many years of screening and interviewing individuals qualified to care for children.

Background checks and pre-screening of each nanny are extensive and conducted
personally by the owner. Each nanny receives a criminal background check, three personal and three professional reference checks, as well as, a lengthy personal interview.
